We want Energy Tracker to be usable by as many people as possible. This page describes which accessibility features the iOS app and the web app support and where gaps remain.
iOS app for iPhone and iPad
- VoiceOver: controls have labels and roles that VoiceOver reads out. Automated tests check them.
- Larger Text: text follows the text size set on the device, up to the largest accessibility size. Screenshot tests check the screens at that size.
- Dark Mode: the app follows the light or dark appearance of the device.
Web app
- Dark mode: the web app follows the light or dark appearance set in the operating system.
Not yet complete
- In the iOS app we are still reviewing Voice Control, sufficient contrast, information that is not conveyed by colour alone, and Reduce Motion.
- For the web app this page so far only describes the light and dark appearance.
